During our meeting Monday July 15, 2019, Christine Catoggio, an Internationally Recognized Transformation Coach, Speaker, and Author spoke to us about life transitions.  She identified several situations that cause a pause in life or career and set the stage for resetting direction, goals, and rediscovering purpose.  She offered and briefly described a few examples: employment change, divorce, family death, temporary or long-term physical impairment.  When such a pause occurs it can be overwhelming and pull down the best and strongest, at least momentarily.  To push through, Christine offered a variety of approaches and techniques.
Christine is especially passionate about helping women who are ready to take charge of their life, discover their true potential and design the life that they desire for themselves. As a leading expert in Life Transitions and issues of navigating change, clients from across the globe, call upon her to help them with the challenges of surviving and thriving through major life transitions. Christine offers seminars and programs designed to teach women to rise above life’s challenges and transform into the best version of themselves and into the life they truly want.  She told us how attending one of her seminars can help resurface one's inner sense of purpose and set the stage for beginning the design to make that transition into a new phase in life.
Christine demonstrated her exciting and amiable personality during the social time prior to beginning our dinner meeting.  She rekindled the spirit of Rotary that she had shared with our club several years prior as our club President and District chair.  Recalling for us many of the Rotary characteristics that helped her during a life transition and that she includes in her seminars and life coaching now.  She highlighted the fellowship and support members offer one another as well as the opportunity to realize service as a major element of purpose.  Recognizing and resurfacing the sense of purpose, Design begins; first setting goals, assessing and enhancing capability and recognizing what brings satisfaction and fulfillment.
"Design, then Create!" she  says.  Create plans and activities and action leading into the transition and transformation.  During this phase, often a life coach will be a big help; interaction and validating plans makes them more prone to success, building confidence as well.  Put new color in life while moving forward through the transition.  Design, Create, Manifest!
Christine has been interviewed on radio, and is a frequently requested speaker at local organizations and conferences on Midlife Redesign, Empowering Women, Thriving through Transition, and Finding Purpose and Passion. Christine is a contributing author in the book, Bold is Beautiful, a #1 International Bestseller on Amazon.
